FA Cup winners in 2013 Wigan Athletic Football Club have today gone into Administration.

Wigan have won all of their three league games since the resumption of Championship football. It is likely that the club will be deducted points, that may see them drop back into the relegation places.

Paul Stanley, Gerald Krasner and Dean Watson of Begbies Traynor have been appointed as Joint Administrators.
