Get down the JMO, it’s your town, your team, support the “Boys in Blue”

Skelmersdale United are in action this coming Saturday when they entertain Northwich Victoria and they will be buoyed by Tuesday nights second half performance which saw them overturn a 2-0 deficit to run out 5 -2 winners over Runcorn Town.

That result and Macclesfield drawing at Irlam means that the gap at the top is down to 1 point, (Macc having played 1 game less).

Paul McNally was delighted with his teams showing “The first half was not acceptable and there were words said at half time, the lads responded magnificently, and we ran out very comfortable winners in the end”.

“We are going to get games like that as we hit the final 10 matches of the season, teams will be wanting to put one over on you, there is still in terms of points to be won a long way to go.

Keep showing us your support and we will endeavour to do our very best for you”.

Northwich currently sit in 6th place in the table, 13 points behind United.
