Skelmersdale United are away this coming Saturday, 14th January, when they travel up to the picturesque town of Clitheroe, there is always a warm welcome up there in the hills.

United after last week’s defeat will be looking to get back on track but it won’t be an easy encounter for the blues, Clitheroe sit in 6th place in the Piching In NPL West table and are 10 points ahead of Skem.

Richard Brodie will be looking for a determined performance, especially the way they fought back last week against City of Liverpool ” We were well beaten by half time and the lads had nothing to lose second half, we battled on and got two late goals, the lads need to start like that and put us on the front foot from the off”.

United fans making the trip are advised to keep an eye on the Social Media channels, with heavy rain this week and more expected before kick off, the game could be in doubt.
