Skelmersdale United after an impressive Month of November, which saw them top the North West Counties Premier Division table, have been awarded the Leagues “Club of the Month”.
United played 6 games in November winning 5, 4 of them away and drawing with their nearest title challengers Macclesfield.
United Manager Paul McNally said of the Award “The lads have been superb all month, we have beaten some good teams, we will have to carry this form on for the remainder of the season if we are to reach our goals.
It’s a nice recognition from the league for everyone involved with the club, from our Community Partners Flowtech, Federal Management & TW Garners, the Directors who work tirelessly and to the supporters, without whom there would be no club”.
United will be presented with their award at the next HOME league fixture, which is against Padiham, at the JMO Sports Park this coming Saturday, 11th December. It is the last game for the club before Christmas, so get on down and give the lads an extra cheer for their achievements.
