Father Christmas and real reindeer will visit Church Square on Saturday 15 December between 12:00pm-4:00pm, to allow children the opportunity to hand in their Christmas lists before the big day

Father Christmas himself will visit St Helens Town Centre next weekend to hear any last-minute Christmas wishes.

Complete with real reindeer in tow, Old Saint Nick will land in Church Square on Saturday 15 December where he will be around from 12:00-4:00pm to receive Christmas letters from crowds of excited children ahead of the big day.

Senior Events & Promotions Officer at St Helens Council, Suzanne Davies, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Father Christmas and his reindeer back to St Helens Town Centre for this fantastic free festive event which has proved extremely popular with families over the years.

“Don’t miss out on this wonderful event which is a fantastic opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit right here in St Helens at what is considered by many to be the most wonderful time of the year.”

A spokesperson for Father Christmas confirmed that the big man is very much looking forward to coming back to St Helens where he is always guaranteed to be given a warm welcome from residents.
