West Lancashire College invite parents and their Year 10 & 11 children to come along to a Parent Information Event on Tuesday 14 March, 5pm-6.30pm, to find out more about the exciting new T Levels on offer at West Lancashire College.
T Levels are a new alternative to A Levels, Apprenticeships and other 16 to 19 courses. Equivalent to 3 A Levels, a T Level focuses on vocational skills and can help students progress into skilled employment, higher study, or Apprenticeships.
These two-year qualifications are designed in collaboration with employers to bring classroom lessons and work experience together.
From September 2023, young people can study the following T Level qualifications with West Lancashire College: Construction, Digital, Engineering &, Manufacturing, Education & Childcare, and Healthcare & Science.
At the event you will be able to find out more about the benefits of studying a T Level, meet employers who will be providing industry placements for the programme, talk to our delivery teachers and discover more about the great progression opportunities following T Level study.
Light refreshments will be available on the evening and West Lancashire College are looking forward to seeing you!
Register your place for the event at Eventbrite.co.uk or if you need further information, please contact the college direct on 01695 52300 / enquiries@westlancs.ac.uk
