An appeal for information has been made by police after about £2,500 worth of musical equipment has been stolen from a car in Burnley. The theft took place at some time between 10:30pm on Friday 20th February and 5:15am on Saturday 21st February, while the car had been parked on the car park of a pub on Todmorden Road, Burnley.

It is believed that a brick has been used to smash the driver’s side window of the black Peugeot 207 and that a number of items were taken from the car, which included two guitars and pedal boards which belong to the band Monsters as Humans.

Anybody who knows anything about the theft or the whereabouts of the stolen items can get in touch with police on 101 quoting log number 291 of February 21st.

Alternatively, people can get in touch with Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or they can go online at Crimestoppers-uk.org. There are no personal details taken, no information is traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
