Witness appeal made following collision in Up Holland

Skelmersdale Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Upholland where a cyclist suffered serious injuries.

Around midday on Saturday (January 22) police were called to a report of an accident in Alma Hill.

A 60-year-old man from Wigan riding an Obsydian ARX Pro bike had fallen, suffering serious head injuries and lower leg fractures.

He was taken by Air Ambulance to Aintree Hospital for treatment.

Police are appealing for witnesses and urging anyone with information to come forward.
