Last year Big Energy Saving Winter helped households across England and Wales save over £1.2million on their energy bills.
Citizens Advice Lancashire West Energy Team is continuing to support the national Big Energy Saving Winter (#BESW) campaign and is assisting local residents with their energy supply issues. With the recent cold weather, we’ve seen an increase in requests for help with energy debt, rising fuel costs and being unable to afford credit for prepayment meters.
We just wanted to reassure you that we’re still here and able to offer support to those who are struggling to add credit to their prepayment meters or worried about energy debt.
Alongside emergency energy issues we’re continuing to offer our year-round energy advice which includes:
- Helping people check they’re on the best tariff and saving as much as they can on their energy bills
- Assisting people who need to replace their old boiler
- Meter reading issues
- Ways to save energy and reduce how much energy they use
