Sheila Grant, Head of Adult Social Care Inspection, said:

“We found the people living in the service were supported to have full control over their lives and healthcare decisions, and the service was always looking to improve people’s quality of life.

“We also saw some interesting uses of technology, to help staff spend more time with the people they supported but ensured their care planning and records were current and up to date. The service was often praised for its caring approach and keeping people active and involved in their care.

“Management of the service was proactive and knowledgeable, and had a strong focus on learning and ensuring transparency throughout. A fantastic result to be rated Outstanding and sustain such significant positive changes to the care being provided.”
