Victims of road traffic collisions will be remembered at a special service in November.

Lancashire Road Safety Partnership would like to invite anyone who has been affected by loss or injury following a road traffic collision to take part in the annual RoadPeace memorial service.

This year the service will be available online, with contributions from multi-faith representatives, emergency service personnel and bereaved family members. This will be shared online for people to view from 9.00am on Sunday 21 November at www.lancsroadsafety.co.uk.

The World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims is observed on the third Sunday in November every year and was initiated in 1993 by RoadPeace, the UK charity for road traffic victims. This day gives people the opportunity to remember loved ones and come together as a community to support each other.

Anyone who would like to remember their loved ones can do so by sharing their photograph, name, dates and a few words of remembrance. This will form part of the online compilation to be shared on our website on the day.

To remember a loved one please email safertravelteam@lancashire.gov.uk by Friday 22 October 2021.

For further information please visit www.lancsroadsafety.co.uk or www.roadpeace.org.
