Temporary closure of Rawtenstall Library

Rawtenstall Library will close for a short time in June while essential building work is carried out.

The library on Haslingden Road will close at 4pm on Saturday 13 June and reopen at 9.30am on Monday 22 June.

The work will include the addition of a new toilet that is accessible to disabled people and new baby-changing facilities.

All library members can use their cards at any library in Lancashire. The nearest libraries to Rawtenstall for people to use during the closure are:

• Crawshawbooth (Adelaide Street) – 0300 123 6703 or crawshawbooth.library@lancashire.gov.uk

Rawtenstall Library is part of Lancashire County Council’s library service.

Anyone who lives in the UK can join a Lancashire library, either online or by visiting in person. It’s free and there are no age restrictions.
