From mouth-watering international street food to award-winning beers, craft ales, ciders, gin and cocktails to quench your thirst!

Cheshire Fest organisers are excited to announce a diverse range of street food traders and breweries who will provide a strong choice of refreshments at this year’s event.

Two-day family event Cheshire Fest returns to Manchester Rugby Club in Cheadle Hulme and this year takes place on Saturday 1 June and Sunday 2 June 2019.

First launched in 2017, Cheshire Fest promises a huge celebration of family entertainment, live music, food and drink in the heart of the Cheshire countryside.

Day tickets and weekend passes are on sale now, and VIP packages are also available.

The weekend’s endless attractions and family fun will ensure festivalgoers will work up an appetite. And they most definitely won’t go hungry or thirsty at Cheshire Fest, with the finest selection of food and drink on offer from quality festival traders and local independents.

Street food from around the world will be complemented by real ales, craft beers, ciders, as well as a gin garden and cocktail bar.

The Street Food Village will offer a wide choice of international cuisines, vegan and vegetarian options. There really will be something to cater for all tastes.

Chilli Banana is one of the region’s most highly regarded vendors of Thai and South East Asian food through its multiple restaurants across the North West, including Bramhall Village and Alderley Edge. Visitors can look forward to a Chilli Banana culinary delight when it comes to a classic green curry or pad thai.

Regulars to Old Trafford football ground and the Manchester food markets are likely to be familiar with the infamous Porky Pig menu. Its take on traditional dishes is what makes them so popular. The Porky Pig team will be serving up something a bit different – Yorkshire Pudding wraps, the latest trend taking street food markets by storm.

Also along traditional food choices, Oh So British will offer quality steak burgers, fish and chips; Hoggie Hog Roast is sure to tempt visitors with their melt-in-the-mouth dishes; while the Mashed Tea Tent will help cleanse the palette so visitors can sample even more delights.

A taste of Europe and the Mediterranean comes from Wildfire Pizza, always a winner with its wide choice of toppings; Levant Street Food will bring homemade delights and delicacies from the Eastern Mediterranean; while Turks Wraps will have charcoal-grilled chicken, halloumi wraps, kebab, accompanied by sauces from around The Med.

International dishes are represented by Flavors of Africa with its rich and nutritious flavourful offerings from the heart of Africa; and Cantonese and Szechuan Chinese dishes with a kick come from Panda Catering.

While visitors always enjoy sampling savoury menus, save some appetite for a sweet treat from Los Churros Amigos with its 100% vegan star-shaped Churros with chocolate sauce and fresh fruits; while Hanky Panky Pancakes is tempting with a feast of toppings and sweet sauces; Cheshire Bake House will offer more traditional desserts; or try a lighter option with Straw & Spoon smoothies.

Cheshire Fest’s impressive food offer will be complemented by more than 100 real ales, craft beer and ciders, produced by the very best independent breweries across the UK and Europe. Hosted by Funky Brands, an extensive and diverse range of beverages will delight any beer connoisseur.

On the Saturday the spotlight will be on award-winning Tiny Rebel brewery from Newport, South Wales. Tiny Rebel is the youngest and only Welsh brewery to win Champion Beer of Britain, as well as the only brewery to win gold, silver and bronze awards in the Champion Beer of Wales competition – and during its first year too!

Festivalgoers can meet the team behind Tiny Rebel at a special ‘meet the brewer’ event at Cheshire Fest on Saturday 1 June, where they will be showcasing 10 beers.

The Funky Brands real ale, craft beer and cider tents will also feature Kelham Island Brewery, Dark Star Brewing Co, Anarchy Brew Co, Cross Bay Brewery, Thornbridge Brewery, SeaCider, Ilkley Brewery, Oakham Ales, Fynne Ales, Lilley’s Cider Barn, and Saltaire Brewery.

Festivalgoers looking for a lighter choice of beverage will also be well catered for at Cheshire Fest, including a Champagne and Prosecco Bar.

The Alchemist will be on-hand with a pop-up Cocktail Bar, offering some of its finest and quirky creations made famous by The Spinningfields venue. The Alchemist is bringing along its festival cocktail unit, The Alchemistress.

Take time to relax in the oasis of The Gin Garden, sponsored by Fever-Tree. Gin is huge and so is the choice available, with more than 20 gins from the best distilleries. Enjoy some time out with a chilled gin and tonic, listening to the rising stars performing on the Acoustic Stage.

Festival organisers Philip Osborne and Ben Harris commented: “We’re delighted and excited to announce our most diverse food and drink offering for Cheshire Fest. We’ve sought out the best we can get to provide a fantastic mixture of local independents and experienced, quality festival traders.

“It’s vital that festivalgoers have the best experience possible, so having a wide choice of refreshments available plays a very important part. Groups of friends, couples, and families with young children will all be looking for something to suit their particular tastes, and we’re sure that with our biggest choice of food and drink traders that everyone will be catered for, quite literally!”

A tasty food and drink menu will be accompanied by live entertainment and plenty of family fun.

The Cheshire Fest Main Stage will feature a fantastic line-up of the UK’s best tribute acts across both days; while new for 2019 the event will also include an Acoustic Stage showcasing some of the region’s best new talent.

The Kids Stage and Play Park featuring Superheroes, the magic of Disney characters, talented stars of tomorrow, and craft activities.

Cheshire Fest 2019 promises to be the event to kick-start Summer, right at the heart of the Cheshire countryside.
