Fresh from their 3-1 hammering of Northwich Victoria on Wednesday, Skelmersdale United are back in action on Saturday 11th September, kick off 3pm, when they welcome North East Counties First Division RETFORD to the JMO Stadium for the 1st Qualifying Round of this seasons Buildbase FA Vase.

Formed in 2015, this will be the furthest the Nottinghamshire based club has had to travel for a competitive fixture, they are expected to bring around 40-50 of their supporters, so please give them a “Big Welcome” and show them some real Lancashire hospitality.

The winners of the tie will have an away trip on 25th October to North East Counties 1st Division ROSSINGTON MAIN.

With defeat in the FA Cup last week, United’s fixture list has become a lot clearer and the club will now have 4 home games in 11 days.

After RETFORD, on Tuesday 14th SQUIRES GATE will be the visitors to the JMO, for a North West Counties League Fixture, the game kicking off at 8pm.

The following Saturday, we welcome WYTHENSHAWE TOWN on Saturday September 18th, kick off 3pm and AFC LIVERPOOL are our visitors on Tuesday night 22nd September, again kick off for this will be 8pm.

The 25th will either be away at ROSSINGTON MAIN in the Vase or a NW Counties fixture at CONGLETON.

ADMISSION FOR ALL HOME GAMES Adults £6, Concessions £4, Under 16s FREE with an adult.

There is still a number of Souvenir programmes available from our trip to Harrogate in last seasons FA Cup. The programmes are 36 pages, in full colour and are available for just £2, if anyone wants one then please see Kev Panther at the game.

The Skem United Lotto Jackpot now stands at £460, and this week if you can pick 6 numbers from 1-16, you will be in with a chance of the BIG Cash prize. Two goes for a quid and you never know your luck.

See Malcolm on Match Days, he will be walking round, you won’t miss him.
