Skelmersdale Police to use Mobile Community Policing Hub to help community to come and speak to officers

0

Your local neighbourhood policing teams are giving you the chance to speak with officers within your area on a regular basis.

Starting in October 2019, Skelmersdale Police will be using their Mobile Community Policing Hub to come to you and give you the opportunity to speak with neighbourhood officers on a regular basis. There will be no predetermined criteria and so you can come and speak about any issues you might have. Feel free to bring children along as the hub is fitted with a PS4, arts & crafts and some outdoor games.

Please see the proposed timetable below and let police know what you think.

Every Tuesday:
Tanhouse Community Centre car park: 17:30 – 19:00
Sandy Lane car park: 19:30 – 21:00

Every Thursday:
Digmoor Community Centre: 17:30 – 19:00
Firbeck (near to the park): 19:30 – 21:00

Skelmersdale Police also plan to use the hub in Parbold and Upholland at the weekends: location and time is yet to be confirmed. Any suggestions from local residents of where and when you would like the hub will be considered in the decision making process as these times and locations are changeable.
