As part of Op Fleece Target Team Officers stop/searched a 46yr old male on The High Street, during the search a quantity of Class A drugs were found, the male was subsequently arrested for Possession With Intent to Supply.
The male has been released under investigation, we will update you once the enquiry is concluded.
Operation Fleece is our response to tackle the rise in reported incidents involving weapons, specifically knives. Target Team Officers will continue to patrol in and around Skem conducting stop/search’s where necessary anyone found in possession of illegal items will be arrested.
