A Skelmersdale company with a market-leading inspection software has seen a four-fold increase in orders as businesses invest in automation to combat staff shortages.
CoreRFID produces specialist software for companies which inspect and maintain lifting gear or workplace equipment. Its CheckedOK system, which is a market leader in the lifting inspection industry, helps them to automate inspection reporting, comply with Health and Safety Executive regulations and run their business more efficiently.
CoreRFID, which typically installs six or seven systems a year, has secured eight new orders in the last three months alone and expects to take orders for 25 systems this year. For each new order, the software is installed and adapted by the team to meet the specific needs of the company. CoreRFID is now expanding its support and software development teams to help it meet demand and to maintain its dominant market position.
Munzi Ali, Managing Director of CoreRFID, says: “With staff shortages, rising prices and the government drive to improve productivity, the demand for specialist software solutions has increased markedly. Inspection and maintenance companies can see the sense in investing in automation and can reap the benefits in a very short space of time. In a tight labour market, reducing demands on existing staff is a priority, enabling them to grow their business within existing staffing levels. Clients tell us they are investing in the long-term future of the business.”
CoreRFID’s clients include leading industry names such as Street CraneXpress, The Electricity Supply Board in Ireland, ITS Plant Tech, Anderco Lifting, and equipment hire firms such as VP Hire Station.
