Quick-Step announces the longest contract extension in the history of Patrick Lefevere’s team.
Wielsbeke, Tuesday 18 May. Quick-Step, the reference for laminate, wood and vinyl floors is extending its partnership with Patrick Lefevere’s team for another six seasons. Representing the longest contract extension in the team’s history, Quick-Step is supporting the winning ambitions of the Wolfpack until 2027.
Quick-Step has been a sponsor of the top Belgian team for 23 years, making it one of the most enduring sponsors in professional cycling. The flooring brand now adds another six years. “The decision to continue our sponsorship is self-evident to us,” says Ruben Desmet, President of Unilin Flooring, the company behind consumer brand, Quick-Step.
“We continue to grow strongly internationally with our brand. Of course, that has a lot to do with our excellent employees, partners & products, but the many successes of Patrick’s team have certainly increased awareness of our brand among the general public.”

23 years in the pack
Quick-Step entered the cycling world in 1998, as a co-sponsor of the highly successful Mapei team. Five years later, in 2003 the brand became the main sponsor of the Quick-Step-Davitamon team. Since then, the team has become one of the most successful in cycling with more than 800 victories to its record.
