Pop-up Memory Cafe is heading to Bootle

0

The Alzheimer’s Society Sefton is bringing a pop-up Memory Café to Bootle at the end of this month to help support people living with dementia and their families.

The café will be based at Strand By Me in Bootle Strand on Friday, 29 November from 10am to 12pm.

This is an opportunity for anyone who is worried about dementia, whether they’re living with it or caring for someone with the condition, to have a chat with experts and others who are going through the same experience.

Staff from the Alzheimer’s Society will be at hand to offer professional support and advice and can help people to find out more about local support services.

There’s no need to deal with dementia alone and as Sefton continues to celebrate it’s Year of Friendship, events like this are a great way for people who may be feeling lonely or socially isolated to meet new people and talk about things they be worried about.
