Ormskirk’s Christmas of Tales

When: Sunday 24 November
Time: 12pm – 6pm
Where: Ormskirk Town Centre
Cost: Free

Unleash some Christmas joy, and the child in you by enjoying tales of Ormskirk and traditional folklore. Listen to new stories, re-discover fairytales, uncover the magic and follow the trails. There will also be lots of festive stalls, tasty food and a funfair ride or two, as well as storytellers and entertainment. Throughout the day and into the night, Ormskirk’s Christmas of Tales plans to delight.

There will also be plenty of fabulous on stage entertainment by the Clock Tower with the Rock Choir, tribute act Abba now, and dance groups Base Dance and Onyx in the build up to the Carol concert at 4.30pm and the Christmas lights being switched on at 5pm.

You can also pay a visit to the Chapel Gallery to enjoy the festive market of handcrafted gift ideas with plenty of festive stalls to accompany those on Moor Street and Aughton Street. Santa Claus will also be paying the Gallery a visit and children can tell him all their Christmas wishes.

Visit for the whole day, or join us later on to see the Christmas lights as they’re switched on.
