Skelmersdale U3A is a lively group who usually meet up on the third Thursday of the month at their new venue at Skelmersdale Library. October’s meeting will be taking place on Thursday 20th October at the usual time of 2pm.
At October’s meeting will be Louise Clewley from Martin Mere, who will be talking about the changing seasons on the Mere. Louise will be talking about the arrival of the Pink Footed Geese at this time of the year, and how does Martin Mere cope with the influx.
Next month we are meeting on Thursday 24 November which will be a friendly social with time given over to the AGM. We need as many members and friends to attend then.
