You can give your local sporting heroes the chance to win a prestigious accolade at the Lancashire Sports Awards.
Organised by Active Lancashire, the awards are the largest celebration of amateur sport in the County. They pay tribute to those, young and old, who show dedication to perform at the highest level or those who work tirelessly to support individuals or clubs week in, week out, for the love of sport.
The Awards have been developed in partnership with each of Lancashire’s local authorities in order to celebrate sporting achievement and showcase best practice throughout the County.
West Lancashire Borough Council is inviting local clubs, individuals and schools to put forward their nominations for the following categories:
- Club of the Year
- Coach of the Year
- Community Project of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
- Primary School of the Year
- Secondary School of the Year

Successful nominees for each category will be invited to represent West Lancashire at the Lancashire Sports Awards at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Clayton Le Moors on Friday 22 November 2019.
