Health leaders from the NHS in West Lancashire are inviting local residents to a drop-in listening event in Burscough.
The event will take place Saturday 28 February 2pm – 4pm in the Older Peoples Club in Burscough and residents can drop in at a time to suit them. Present will be senior representatives from NHS West Lancashire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust and Southport & Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust. Residents can drop-in any time between 2pm and 4pm.
Greg Mitten, board member of NHS West Lancashire CCG who oversees patient and public involvement, said: “The best way for us to understand how you are experiencing local health services is by talking to each other. We would like to hear from anyone who has feedback, a compliment, a complaint, a story, an idea for improvement; anything at all about local health services.”
“Your views will allow us to ensure services are working as they should, so we can improve the health and wellbeing of West Lancashire. No matter what your interest or feedback is on, please do come along as your views really do matter to us. There will be confidential ways you can provide your experiences on the day.”
Providing feedback, both good and bad, allows NHS West Lancashire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and its partner organisations Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust and local hospital Southport & Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust to understand their services better and shape them to suit what you need.
The event will be held on Saturday 28 February 2-4pm in the Older Peoples Club, Lord Street, Burscough
