Celebrations began early as Olive Morris living at Stocks Hall Burscough Care Home celebrated her 100th birthday on Saturday, 19 August 2017.
After getting up, she opened her birthday cards including her special card from the Queen, and was greeted by staff and friends, who sang Happy Birthday.
Olive then went on to open her gifts and was surrounded by hugs and birthday kisses.
Olive’s special centenary birthday continued with a celebratory lunch at Stocks Hall Burscough Home followed by JLH Productions who danced and sang to Olive and the people living at the Home.
Olive got up and danced some of the afternoon away – quite amazing when you are 100 years young!
Olive said “I have really enjoyed myself and I loved the music.”
Olive’s family, living in Canada will be joining her later in the month for further celebrations of this happy occasion.
Stocks Hall Nursing & Care Group send warm congratulations to Olive and wish her a very Happy Centenary Birthday.
