Skelmersdale man jailed after falsely imprisoning woman

It has been reported by the Plymouth Herald that Michael Bullen, from Skelmersdale, is facing years in jail after holding a woman prisoner in her bedroom and stubbing out a cigarette on her head, after accusing her of being a witch.

A court heard that Michael Bullen, had kept his partner captive for two days and had confiscated her phone, and had only allowed her to go to the toilet under his supervision.

Sentencing was adjourned by Judge Paul Darlow for a fresh psychiatric report and Bullen was sent back to prison.
