Volunteers from Divine Days perform for residents at Aaron Crest Care Home

Singing and dancing came to a Skelmersdale care home courtesy of a community arts company.

Divine Days ran a session for elderly residents at Aaron Crest Care Home, on Tanhouse Road.

The company delivers activities, projects, and workshops for all ages, abilities and disabilities.

Volunteers performed a dance routine at the care home, encouraging residents to participate either from their chairs or on their feet, depending on their mobility.

They also led a singalong and engaged residents in conversation during their visit.

Adrienne Ratcliffe, home manager at Aaron Crest Care Home, said: “Residents who are not able to get out of the home or who have life changing illnesses thoroughly enjoyed the visit from the group and hope they can do many more visits in future.”
