Mental health in conversation

To Mark National Libraries Week, Author and Psychiatrist Rosie Claverton will be visiting Sefton Libraries, alongside local Author and Newspaper columnist Ruth F Hunt.

Together they will discuss the portrayal of mental health in fiction and in the media, and how the rich experiences of mental health open doors for readers and writers, both established and brand new.

There will be opportunities for the audience to ask questions and discuss the subject, attendees will also meet both authors, who will also discuss and read from their latest novels – “Terror 404” by Rosie Claverton and “The Single Feather” by Ruth F Hunt.

The event will take place on 13 October at 11am Meadows Library Maghull and 2pm Southport Library.

Sefton Libraries are supporting the ‘30 Days of Sefton In Mind’ Campaign – to spread the word about local services and activities available to people in Sefton to improve their mental health.
