Children can visit the Chapel Gallery in Ormskirk and The Tree House Gallery, Gift Shop & Cafe in Skelmersdale this half-term to find plenty of ways to get creative and have fun.

Each imaginative session is planned for five to 12 year olds, with jumbo games for all and creative play activities to entertain younger siblings. The children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

Join Shelly Thomas-Baines this half term and ‘Emoji Yourself!’ at workshops at the Chapel Gallery on Tuesday 13 February. In this fun, creative workshop children can make their own emoji masks and even design their very own emoji family! Sessions are at 10.30pm–midday and 1.30pm–3pm.

At the ‘BIG Dino Stomp’ on Wednesday 14 February at the Chapel Gallery children can meet Cheryl O’Connor and create their own dinosaurs out of Play-Doh with whatever colours and patterns they choose, from a scaly green T-Rex to a sparkly pink Dancer-o-sauress. They can even make dinosaur fossils and a land for their dinosaur to live in. Workshops take place between 10.30am–midday and 1.30pm–3pm.

Children can let their imagination run wild with the creation of ‘Bonkers Birds Puppets’ with artist Sarah Jane Richards on Thursday 15 February at the Chapel Gallery. Sessions take place from 10.30am-midday and 1.30pm–3pm.

The workshop costs are £4 per child, per session and this includes all materials. Adults and under twos are free.
