West Lancashire Borough Council would like to invite residents to attend the next committee meeting of the Corporate and Environmental Overview and Scrutiny Committee and hear the debate on a wide range of topics regarding Council services.
The next Committee meeting takes place on Thursday 7 March 2019 at the Council’s offices at 52 Derby Street, Ormskirk, and starts at 7pm.
Councillor Nikki Hennessy said: “People living and working in West Lancashire are welcome to come along to the meeting and listen to discussions on these very important topics for the Council.
“At the next meeting there will be a presentation on Crime and Disorder from a representative of West Lancashire Community Safety Partnership (CSP). There will also be an update on the activities at the Chapel Gallery from the Deputy Director of Development and Regeneration.”
Other items for consideration include looking at the Council’s performance in a variety of services from waste collection to visitor numbers to our leisure and cultural facilities. There will also be an update on the final report of the review of ‘Community Involvement in Service Delivery’ together with presentations in respect of the Committee’s review of the ‘Litter Bin Policy’.
