Britain’s Mind Hunter Visits College

As part of their Open Evening on the 31st of January West Lancashire College have secured the support of one of Britain’s leading criminal experts.

Paul Harrison, a former UK Police Officer who worked closely with the FBI’s Behavioural Science Unit at Quantico, is taking students and visitors through a unique crime scene analysis live at the College.

If you are interested, or know someone who is interested in a career in Law, Psychology, Public Services or Forensic Science then this is a perfect event for you. With over four decades experience as a criminal profiler Paul has gained a unique and remarkable insight into the minds of some of the world’s most violent criminals, serial killers and murderers.

Paul is now an accomplished crime writer penning both fiction and non-fiction books. His book Mind Games is a best seller and has been reviewed by Martina Cole as ‘profiling at its best, Paul Harrison is the master of the true crime genre.’

During the Open Evening, which takes place 5pm-8pm, Paul, along with West Lancashire College staff, will be leading visitors through a bespoke crime scene that has been created especially for the Open Event. As a leading crime expert Paul will be able to give visitors a unique insight into the Police and profilers work on crime scenes.

In addition to this, Paul is also going to deliver his Interviews with Serial Killers show to students and members of the general public between 7.30pm and 9pm. This is a truly eye-opening and entertaining talk, which covers twelve stories and interviews. Accompanied by a visual presentation, covering the history of the individual crimes, and the killer’s stories in their own words.
