Appeal to public over lost medication in Seaforth

Merseyside Police have made an appeal to the public to be cautious following a quantity of prescription medication being lost in the Seaforth area on Monday 19th May.

It is believed that the medication, which consisted of 24 tablets of Procyclidine and 12 tablets of Escitalopram, might have been dropped at somewhere between Dewson Road and Rawson Road at around 11:30am.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

Officers have warned people that taking any medication which has not been prescribed for them can be dangerous and could prove fatal.

Anybody who finds the medication has been asked to hand it in to any pharmacy or police station. Officers can also be contacted via the police non-emergency 101 number.
