Lancashire Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was injured in a collision in Chorley on Thursday 6th September.
Police were called at 14:15 hours to reports of the collision involving a man in his 70s and a Scania double-decker bus on Shepherds Way.
The pedestrian was taken to Royal Preston Hospital with serious facial injuries. His condition is described as serious but stable.
The road was closed for around two hours for collision investigation.
Sergeant Marc Glass of Lancashire’s Road Policing Unit, said: “The collision happened opposite Chorley train station and the area would have been quite busy at the time. If you saw anything, or have any dash-cam footage, please get in touch.”
