1EM sets October date for new ‘E3 business conference’

On Wednesday 12th October 2016, the business support and networking specialist 1 Events Media will host its inaugural E3 Business Conference – a one-day event aimed at ambitious, growth-focused businesses from across the North West.

The new conference is the latest in an annual programme of business-to-business events that 1EM has established under the ‘E3’ banner. The company also hosts the E3 Business Expo, the E3 Business Awards, and a busy calendar of 1EM Networking Events. Like the other E3 events, it is intended for a truly regional audience, targeting companies from Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and beyond.

The E3 Business Conference will be held at a central regional venue: the Lakeside Suite of the Macdonald Kilhey Court Hotel in Wigan. Running from 9.30am to 4.30pm, it will feature a keynote address, as well as networking opportunities, lunch and three ‘expert panel’ sessions.

The panel sessions will address three topics of particular importance to fast-expanding businesses. These include Skills & Training, Digital Marketing, and Support & Funding for Growth. Each will begin with a short masterclass, during which the expert speakers will give their personal perspectives, and this will be followed by an extended question-and-answer session.

“The E3 Business Conference is a natural extension to the events we’ve been running for some years now,” said 1EM Managing Director Mubarak Chati. “The E3 brand started in 2013 as a means of celebrating business achievement and, through the Awards, we built up a substantial but very diverse following. Increasingly, customers then began asking us for a dedicated networking platform so – as a direct response to that – we launched the E3 Expo last year.

“Now, the E3 Business Conference takes things a step further. It’s a very focused event, concentrating on improving business performance by sharing good practice. Delegates will be able to call on the expertise of some of the most experienced professionals in their fields, and learn how to manage growth safely.

“Importantly, the panel sessions will include a strong Q&A element, so delegates’ questions on the day will determine the scope and agenda of the discussions. That means no long-winded speeches, and a clear emphasis on addressing the issues that most concern North West firms and entrepreneurs.”

Booking details and more information about the expert panel sessions can be found on the E3 Business Conference website – www.e3businessconference.co.uk.  The site also provides more information about the speakers, sponsorship and the venue.
