A pop-up Covid-19 vaccination clinic has arrived in Chorley town centre, bringing vaccines closer to people living in the area.

Offering first and second doses of Pfizer and AstraZeneca, this temporary facility will make getting a jab easier and more convenient, with clinicians on hand to answer questions and address any concerns people might have.

Located on Friday Street Car Park, Friday Street, Chorley, PR6 0AA, the site is open 8am to 1pm and 2pm to 8pm, seven days a week. Anyone aged 18 and over is welcome to attend.  The site is offering both walk-in and pre-bookable appointments available online at www.healthierlsc.co.uk/fridaystreetchorley.

Jane Scattergood, Covid-19 Vaccination Director for Lancashire and South Cumbria, said: “This pop-up vaccination site means people have the opportunity to get their vaccination at a time and place that suits them. All adults are now eligible so please come forward.

“I also want to say a huge thank you to all our staff and partners who are working hard on the delivery of the vaccination programme.”
