We know Ormskirk MotorFest is welcomed by many so this year to help us all stay safe we are bringing the sights and sounds of this great occasion to you.

Government guidance means we cannot offer large events where people would gather and so we have arranged with the organisers, Aintree Circuit Club, for the cars and motorcycles to tour around areas of the borough on Sunday 30 August.

Councillor David Evans, whose Cabinet responsibilities include MotorFest, said: “Many of us really like the MotorFest and bringing the event to different parts of West Lancashire means we can enjoy the event in a new way while staying safe.”

Mike Ashcroft, Chairman of Aintree Circuit Club, said: “This will be the 10th Ormskirk MotorFest and bringing the vehicles to different parts of the Borough is a great way to celebrate. We are working on making this a fantastic event for us all to enjoy.”

The current plan is to bring the cars to Burscough and Skelmersdale as well as Ormskirk as these are the main residential areas of West Lancashire and we will let everyone know the final details of the event when they are drawn up.
