Man dies after fall

We are appealing for witnesses after a man fell from a viaduct in Colne.

We were called by the ambulance service at shortly after 12.30pm to reports that the man, believed to be in his late 30s, had fallen or jumped from the viaduct above Knots Lane/Albert Road.

He sadly died at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics.

Enquiries are on-going but the death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
