Local Subway franchise owner, Simon Gould will be sponsoring an upcoming charity ‘dry-night’ on 6th December in Skelmersdale.
The evening, which will be held at the E Rooms from 7.30pm, will provide an opportunity for those in recovery to enjoy an alcohol-free festive celebration in the run-up to Christmas.
Simon is also a member of a local rock covers band, Out of Chaos and will be providing the evening’s entertainment. Teas, coffees and a buffet will also be provided on the night.
Local Subway franchisee, Simon Gould commented: “Supporting the local community is at the heart of everything we do at Subway. I felt compelled to support this evening which we hope will be a big success! These charities do a lot of work in the community, especially with regards to people in recovery and those with mental health difficulties. This time of year can be difficult for those in recovery and so the evening will provide a relaxed environment to have a great time without the temptation of alcohol.
As the world’s largest specialist sandwich provider, Subway currently has over 2,500 stores in the UK and Ireland, all individually owned and operated by franchisees.
