A range of information events have been arranged in Knowsley which support the priorities of the Knowsley Older People’s Strategy 2018-2021.

The older people’s information marketplace will take place from Monday, 30 September to Friday, 4 October in a range of locations across the borough.

The events aim to highlight the wealth of support and information available to older people in Knowsley and importantly, how to access it.  This includes information and advice around legal, property and financial matters as well as utility, care and health services.

They are all issues that Knowsley’s older population have highlighted as key issues and priorities when the strategy was getting developed.

Come along and speak to a range of professionals from the various agencies who are supporting and delivering the strategy  as well as pick up information on the following dates and locations – all from 11am until 3pm:-

By knowing what these services are and how to access them could help you to live independently for longer.  I’d encourage you to come along to these free drop-in events and find out more, or just pop in for a chat and a cuppa.”

The Knowsley Older People’s Strategy has been developed by a range of partner agencies in Knowsley in consultation with older people living in the borough. The agencies include Knowsley Council, Knowsley Older People’s Voice, Knowsley’s Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), North West Borough Health; Mersey Travel, Merseyside Fire and Rescue, Knowsley Pensioners Advocacy and Information service and Knowsley Carers and the Alzheimer’s Society.
