Skelmersdale United welcome Ramsbottom United to the Burscough Community Stadium this coming Saturday, 18th Feb and there will be a familiar face in the away team dugout, former “Blue” Dave Chadwick who made over 100 appearances for Skem back in 1999-2001 has taken over the helm, replacing another former “Blue” Lee Donafee, who was Assistant to Paul McNally, who stepped down earlier this week.

United will be looking for some of the form that has seen them win 4 of their last 5 games on the road Rammy are propping up the table at the moment but the result will not be a forgone conclusion considering that United have won only 3 games at home all season.

Richard Brodie has said “We do the right things away from home, we have ground out results, at times it has not been pretty but when you are struggling every point is vital and it sometimes doesn’t matter how you gain them but we don’t seem to be getting the rub of the green when we are at home, you can be assured we will be working very hard to rectify the situation”.
