Saturday 10th July v Widnes, ONLINE PROGRAMME AVAILABLE

SUPPORTERS ARE COMING HOME

It’s coming home, Skelmersdale United return to the JMO on Saturday 10th July against Widnes and Supporters are welcome.

It will be the first time since September 2020 that the supporters will be able to attend, although covid regulations are in place until the 19th. we respectfully ask that face coverings are worn in all indoor areas.

Widnes are managed by former United players Steve Akrigg and Kev Towey and will provide a stern test for Paul McNally’s side.

In United’s first two warm-up games they lost to Stockport Town 2-0 and beat a very spirited Sefton Athletic 6-0.

United’s pre-season includes Home games against Radcliffe on Tuesday 13th, kick off 8pm. Marine on the 17th, where players from the Amateur Cup winning side of 1971 are expected to make an appearance. Kick off 3pm.

Accrington Stanley are the visitors to the JMO on Saturday 24th kick off 3pm, when all Covid restrictions will be lifted and Prescot Cables are the visitors on Tuesday 27th kick off 8pm.

Admission for all pre-season games will be £5, concessions £3, Under 16’s free.

With the North West Counties League starting on Saturday 1st July, United will have no game in the 21 team division and will start their campaign on Tuesday 3rd, when they face Longridge Town at the JMO.

Admission for all League and Cup games will be £6, Conc £4 and Under 16s free.
