HoustonBlue Yoga at the Ashurst Centre Skelmersdale

0

HoustonBlue Yoga has recently been launched at the Ashurst Centre in Skelmersdale, taking place once a week on Saturday mornings. Also on offer is YogaRobics, which is a combination of both Yoga and Aerobics while constantly moving. HoustonBlue Yoga takes place on Saturdays between 9am – 10am and teaches beginners Yoga.

HoustonBlue Yoga is taught by Paul Houston, who after practicing Yoga for 15 years decided to go on a ‘bit of a pilgrimage’ to India, and to also learn to teach Yoga and meditation. Paul has now come back to Skelmersdale and teaches Yoga at the Ashurst Centre through HustonBlue Yoga.

Yoga really can be done by anyone. Most of the people that come to HoustonBlue Yoga sessions couldn’t even touch their knees. Now they can touch their feet!

YogaRobics had a successful soft launch last month, and will be launching properly on 5th October. These sessions will run after Yoga sessions at the Ashurst Centre and will run from 10:15 – 10:45. This half an hour is a mixture of Yoga and Aerobics whilst stood in the same area. This attracts a different set of people as this is very upbeat. Hence it’s for half an hour rather than a full hour. Moving your legs and arms (yoga poses) quickly to very loud Indian music. Great for losing weight and toning your body but also good for your mind. You will ache after doing this!
