It comes to Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park on Friday, October 2 at both 1.30pm (schools performance) and 7pm.

We all want to meet people from history. The trouble is everyone is dead! But in Barmy Britain 3, a brand new show, you’ll have the chance to meet plenty of crazy characters and rude rulers from Britain’s barmy past.

Party with the Puritans and light up your life with the great fire of London! Clap along with crazy King Charles! Find out if King John be a martyr for the Magna Carta? Will you see eye to eye with Admiral Nelson? Does the Duke of Wellington get the boot? Vomit with the vile Victorians and make a great escape from the First World War!

Staying true to the bestselling books by Terry Deary, the show promises audiences plenty of history – but with all the nasty bits left in! The highly entertaining shows are bound to teach you something new about the past whilst guaranteeing you laughs and gasps throughout.

Tickets for the 7pm show, priced £14 for adults and £12 for children, are available by calling 0151 443 2200 or in person at Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park, Longview Drive, Huyton. You can also book via www.knowsley.gov.uk/tickets (booking fee applies).
