To mark the centenary of Thatto Health Library on January 14th there will be an exhibition celebrating its heritage.
The exhibition will include the original plans and photographs of the building and correspondence between the Library Service and the offices of, library philanthropist, Andrew Carnegie. It will also include customer memories of Thatto Heath and the library over the years.
The exhibition will be launched as part of the birthday celebrations on Wednesday 14th January by the Mayor and Mayoress of St.Helens, Councillor Geoff and Carol Pearl. Local historian Tom Preston will also be delivering a talk on the history of Thatto Heath.
There will be a prize draw where one lucky customer will be in with a chance to win an eReader tablet. The lucky winner will be the 100th new member joining Thatto Heath Library from 14th January 2015.
