Groups invited to give views to West Lancs BC

0

Community groups and local businesses are being invited to give their views about where West Lancashire Borough Council should make reductions in spending or increase income.

The 2017 Stakeholder Survey gives organisations a chance to make their voices heard and influence decisions that will be taken by the Council.

The consultation is open to all organisations and businesses and runs to 7 April. To take part, visit www.westlancs.gov.uk/yourviews

Cllr Ian Moran, Leader of the Council, said:

“We encourage community groups, organisations and businesses to take this opportunity to give their views on these important issues.

“We are working in partnership with the West Lancashire Council for Voluntary Services to encourage groups to take part in this important consultation. Hundreds of invitations are being sent out by email to groups in our borough.

“But I must stress that the consultation is open to all organisations – whether or not you receive an invitation – so please do visit the website to find out how to get involved.”

Only one response can be accepted on behalf of each organisation. If any members of organisations wish to give their views as individual residents they can do so via the Citizen Survey 2017 which is also available on the website, and is open for any resident to complete. In addition, copies of the Citizen Survey have been sent out to around 4,500 households in the borough.
