Forklift training school is coming to Skelmersdale

FTW Training, established in Widnes in 2013 has recently undergone significant expansion, delivering training to companies nationwide and upskilling unemployed people in the local area. As a result, FTW are excited to be opening a second site in Skelmersdale.

Managing Director Stephen Dovey has said, “I’m delighted to be opening a location in the Skelmersdale area. Skelmersdale is a fast moving and rapidly expanding town that I believe is the perfect location for our forklift and warehousing training. We have access to funding to help unemployed people gain the qualifications and skills to get them back into work, couple this with our wide range of forklift training for businesses locally and nationwide, I’m confident we’re going to bring a lot of value to the Skelmersdale area”.

Gaining a nationally accredited forklift licence can be a real boost for someone who is unemployed and looking to work in the warehousing and logistics sector.
