There is lots of fun for the families to enjoy this Easter at the Chapel Gallery Ormskirk and The Tree House Sandy Centre Skelmersdale.
On Tuesday 3 April and Friday 6 April, from 11am–3pm, children can enjoy free exciting Easter themed making activities at the Tree House on Sandy Centre. Please book to be sure of a place 07860 617353.
At the Chapel Gallery, until 7 April there will be a wide range of free Easter-themed creative activities. There will also be a programme of professional-led sessions for families and children.
Children aged 2 -11 can join a ‘Get Moving!’ dance and drama session on Tuesday 3 April. Alice Lapworth and the Get Moving! Team will lead the sessions, 2 – 6-year-olds taking place between 10am and 11am, 7-11-year-olds 11.30am and 12.30pm. The activities cost £4 per child per session but adults and under-twos can attend for free.
Audiences will be taken on a magical journey of storytelling, puppetry and music with the Lempen Puppet Theatre’s ‘Cardboard Carnival’ show at 2pm on Wednesday 4 April. The show is recommended for children aged 4 to 10 and over, and tickets cost £4 each or £15 for a family ticket based on two adults and two children or one adult and three children.
Then on Thursday 5 April children aged eight and over can celebrate the arrival of spring by making leafy clay sculptures of the fabled Green Man at the ‘Green Man Sculptures’ event with Sarah Jane Richards. Sessions cost £4 per child per session and take place between 10am-midday and 1pm-3pm. Children do not need a parent or other adult with them to attend.
There will be a free Easter Egg Hunt every day at the Chapel Gallery from Tuesday 3 April to Friday 6 April. Find all the eggs and claim a prize.
