Lancashire Police are asking residents to enjoy Halloween responsibly as the holiday gets closer.
Halloween is celebrated by many people across the county, but please be mindful of those who may be vulnerable and wish to avoid any festivities.
We would like to appeal to parents – do you know where your children are? The consequences of anti-social behaviour and criminality can have a lasting impact on a young person’s life and on those affected by their actions.
Police are working closely with partners to ensure Halloween and the lead up to Bonfire Night are events which can be enjoyed safely by all members of the community.
We want to provide reassurance that there will be an increased police presence around the weekend of Halloween. It is vitally important that our communities have the confidence to come forward and help us to keep them safe by reporting any concerns or information to us.
