Tilia Homes Northern is reporting increased numbers of visitors to its Daltons Way development, in Skelmersdale, is due to first time buyers and upsizers alike wanting to take advantage of the energy and cost savings associated with new build homes over some existing properties.

Recent research from the Home Builders Federation found that as well as achieving an average cost saving of £2,000 a year in energy bills, owners of new build properties can also reduce carbon emissions by two tonnes per year too.
