College welcomes local community to Open Event

West Lancashire College are delighted to be opening their doors to the local community once again and invite you to attend their final Open Event of the academic year on Thursday 27 April, 4.30pm-7pm.

The College offers a range of A Levels, BTECs, Technical, T Level and Apprenticeship courses and there is still time to apply for a place to study with them in September 2023.

Choose from A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths, Physics Psychology, Sociology or The School of Medicine.

Brand NEW T Levels – which are a new alternative to A Levels, Apprenticeships and other 16 to 19 courses. Equivalent to 3 A Levels, and developed in collaboration with employers, T Level focuses on vocational skills and can help you progress into skilled employment, higher study, or Apprenticeships. The college offers T Levels in Digital Support Services, Education & Child Care or Health.

Vocational courses in Art & Design, Business, Children’s Care Learning & Development, Computer Science, Criminology Engineering, Health & Social Care, Psychology, Public Services or Sports.

Or Technical qualifications in Beauty & Spa Therapy, Bricklaying, Carpentry & Joinery, Electrical, Hairdressing, Motor Vehicle and Plumbing.

Plus, a range of Apprenticeships in Autocare, Barbering, Business Administration, Carpentry & Joinery, Electrical, Engineering and Hairdressing.

The college boasts outstanding facilities, impressive results, designated transport, fabulous wrap around support, great connections with employers and universities, and were recently graded at Good by Ofsted at their inspection in January 2022.

The college welcomes you to come along to their Open Event where you can meet Tutors and talk to current students, plus there will be lots of have a go activities for you to explore and free refreshments too!
