Church Heritage Project needs volunteers

0

Thanks to a Heritage Lottery Fund grant, St Nicholas’ Church in Blundellsands are launching a new project.

The grant will help St Nicholas’ to extend its role as a heritage centre and community resource. A team of volunteers will support this work, by promoting the church’s heritage at  public events, acting as guides for visitors and helping in the church’s new refreshment area.

Volunteers are asked to commit to volunteering between 2 and 10 hours per month. You do not have to be part of the congregation, or have a faith, just be interested in working with the public and promoting the rich history of the church.

Being a Heritage Volunteer will offer the opportunity to develop new skills, meet new people and potentially improve your employability.

Anyone who would be interested in volunteering on the project can contact Lynne Godfrey on lgodfrey4@virginmedia.com or 07535265549 for more information.
